Patiently waiting for someone to make an addition for RSV...
That aside, thank you very much for this mod, I like playing as an elf, and being called human was such a small annoyance, enough that I came here in hopes of solution
I have a weird specific request: character reactions as if you're a type of humanoid monster, like krobus but, not a shadow person, just another creature.
Love this mod!! I was wondering if it's possible to make it compatible with The Last Smoluanu - A Dwarf Expansion? The Dwarf calls the player Human a lot, and since I role-play as a Dhampir, it is a little off-putting. :')
Thank you very much! Sorry for the late response, I've had a busy month
The dwarf mod (on its own, ignoring Jasper) doesn't seem too bad - it may be doable, just need to get author permission. I'm quite busy lately but if you're still interested I can push it to my TO-DO list
This mod and Not a Farmer seem largely compatible at a glance. There's only two little incompatibilities at the intro sequence and with Jodi's introduction when "Townspeople Reactions" is enabled, but unless you knew which dialogue was supposed to be displaying I bet you wouldn't notice, so I'd consider them basically compatible :p
Hey, @deimonns! I updated the "Not A Farmer" mod and tried to make it as compatible to Not Human as possible, though there still would be dialogues that could be overwritten.
Also, I made some dialogue for "Not Human" for the base game while doing this. Is it okay if I sent it to you via private message to see if it's possible to add it to your mod?
Oh, I didn't even realize you were the mod author! That's what I get for not reading names -- edit: just realized what you actually meant, dw about it i forget how to think sometimes
There's 10 dialogue entries that both mods want to edit, which ones enter into effect depend on mod load order I guess.
That mod also likes to call the player human quite a bit on its own additions too.
As for difficulty, I think not much - less than 20 lines that need changing, I'll just need to ask the original author permission to borrow assets. I'm kinda busy but I guess I can push it to the TO-DO list =P
hello!! This mod looks amazing, I just had a few questions before playing w/ it. I wanted to know one, If it can be used with an already existing save, or if suddenly becoming an elf will change things. "Townspeople Reactions" I assumed was the townspeople reacting to whatever you are, and of course also refering to you as whatever you put instead of a human, but is it something else? Finally, I was curious if its compatible with other dialogue heavy mods (for example, I use RRRR a lot, and I'm wondering if being an elf changes other dialogue in that mod, or if it includes some sort of event that overides another one)
Sorry for asking so many questions, I already am determined to download this mod and use it in a new save, even if it isn't compatible with RRRR, or if it changes other dialogue/events, I just wanted to know before I apply it to my pre-existing save
The mod is purely dialogue changes, yeah. You can use it on an existing save just fine.
Townspeople reactions is my attempt to change a few of their introductions so they react to your farmer being non-human (I don't claim to be a good writer, though, hence why that part is optional hahaha).
Don't know about RRRR compatibility. I was gonna look through the content file but I then I saw its 9.5k lines long! Maybe you could try and tell me if you find any dialogue/event conflicts?
I would love to, but I'm unaware of all of the dialogue edits/events. I know it adds new events, but some of the changes are to really simple conversation things, so I'd have to look and see exactly which of those changed, but I'll let you know if I do notice anything! Thanks for making such a cool mod! c:

I'd love to play as a werewolf
Thanks for such a lovely mod! <3
Also, is this compatible with Not a Farmer - Job Title Replacer?

That's a lot more work...
