The ducks are so cute!! Would you ever consider making a alternative texture mod for the regular stardew ducks with your white, yellow, and grey duck designs?
I love these so much, I'm using them all over my farm right now! I noticed that when the duck has caught something, the duck icon glitches into a solid rectangle.
Maybe it's one of my other mods (I have about 180), but I wanted to mention this visual glitch in case it can be reproduced or someone else has the same experience in their file.
Thank you for reporting this. With that many mods, it could certainly be a weird interaction.
I was using them for decor and not baiting the textured pots during testing. I'm in the middle of another project so it will be a bit, but I'm making a note to test this on an otherwise-vanilla save. I haven't heard anyone else report this yet though.
No rush! I still love them, and it makes sense that you only use them for decor. I'm okay if it doesn't get fixed :) as you said, it could be my mod list.

Is it possibly missing a crab pot "caught" sprite? The other mod of this has an extra sprite per duck variant, so I wonder if that's what's missing in this mod.

In order to keep the pot animated, not only animating on interaction, mine work a bit differently than the mod you're referencing, Xenornithos, but I appreciate the idea!
After extensive testing, I think I found a good balance in my keyframes for unbaited, baited, and caught. Updated to 1.0.1 and my animation should now continue to smoothly play in all states. There is a "shaking" animation when a crab pot has caught a fish of course, but the duck animation should continue regardless.
